Registration - Spring 2012
Who can play?
Registration is open to all new and returning boys and girls ages 5-12 that live within Cranbury and Plainsboro. Age eligibility is determined by a player's birth date. Click on the Age Calculator link to determine a player age.
UPDATE: 4 year-olds are allowed to play this season provided they are scheduled to begin Kindergarten in Sep 2012. Please contact the CPLL Player Agent for more information.
New (non-returning) players who register online ***must separately mail in a copy of their birth certificate, medical insurance, and proof of residency (i.e. utility bill)***. Your child is NOT officially registered until these documents are received by CPLL. A returning player is defined as "one who has participated in baseball or softball for the Cranbury-Plainsboro Little League (CPLL) in one of the preceding Spring seasons". Fees
Baseball/Softball Registration Fees:
CPLL's 2012 baseball/softball registration fees are $115.00 for your first child, $210.00 for 2 children, and $275.00 for 3 children. There is NO CHARGE for the fourth or more. (Maximum registration fee would be $275.00 per family plus the volunteer bond). These fees include a $25 "Early Bird" discount for families registering before Jan 23, 2012. Registrations occurring on, or after, Jan 24, 2012 will be charged our normal, non-discounted rates of: $140 for the first child, $235 for 2 children and $300 for 3 or more children ($300 family maximum). Why is there a discount? We need people to sign-up to player sooner versus later ... it helps in planning out the entire season if we have a general idea of how many kids will be playing.
T-Ball Registration Fees:
CPLL's 2012 T-Ball registration fees are $75.00 for each child.
Building Raffle Tickets:
All families registering their child/children are required to purchase $50.00 (per family) worth of CPLL Indoor Facility/Building Raffle tickets. This is a per family charge and families are encouraged to sell these tickets to others outside of CPLL.
Volunteer Bond:
All families registering their child/children are required to post a $150.00 (per family) volunteer bond. This bond is held until the family's volunteer duties have been fulfilled.
CPLL League Overview
CPLL has been successful in providing a fun and challenging recreational program for over 20 years. Our program currently has 500+ players in both baseball and softball divisions. Players are placed on teams in their age appropriate divisions based upon player evaluations.
